Does anybody happen to know how much glutaraldehyde really helps? I know the advice well, presumably it's backed up by solid anecdotes? Reason I ask: Cross-linking may keep the crystal aesthetically pleasing, but does that help for the cell-to-cell variation that osmotic shock induces? phx.
