CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 1999 <-- November 1999 <-- 30 November 1999Subject: Best cathode focus for confocal optics From: james {- dot -} phillips {- at -} DUKE {- dot -} EDU james {- dot -} phillips {- at -} DUKE {- dot -} EDU Date: 2007-05-27 e have recently put Varimax optics on our generator, replacing Yale mirrors. We are still running with a 300x300 micron source and get a nice increase in intensity. However we anticipate getting even more if we use a 200x200 or 100x100 focus. Does anyone have experience with flux increases and focal spot size at the crystal with these configurations?
