We seek to fill two protein purification and crystallization positions
in the structural biology group at the Groton, Connecticut campus of
Pfizer Global Research and Development.

Job Description:
The selected candidate will have passion and experience in the
purification and crystallization of proteins to support x-ray
crystallography and NMR projects. The candidate will work as part of a
"gene-to-structure" team and will be proficient in various protein
purification methods. Also, he or she should be very familiar with
standard protein analytical methods including gel electrophoresis, mass
spectrometry, dynamic light scattering, and should have a good working
knowledge of standard laboratory instrumentation. Experience in various
crystallization techniques, crystal manipulation and initial assessment
of diffraction qualities is highly desirable.

Qualifications:

The successful applicant will have a B.S. or M.S. in Biochemistry or
related subjects with proven relevant industrial or academic experience.
Previous experience in a structural biology group will be a plus.
