Dear Juergen,

I checked the SUSE pages for the fftw library package. There
are packages available but I did not find one specifically for
SUSE 9.3. FFTW is provided as open source and is available as
part of the CCP4 libraries. You can get the latest version of
FFTW from http://www.fftw.org/. I have SUSE 8.2 myself and
installed FFTW-3.1.2 with no problems. I cannot say if it is
compatible with eden. On the bright side it is very easy to
write your own FT program in C or FORTRAN.
