CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 1999 <-- November 1999 <-- 30 November 1999Subject: Postdoctoral positions at Stockholm University From: Therese Eneqvist eneqvist {- at -} DBB {- dot -} SU {- dot -} SE Date: 2010-02-02 Two postdoctoral research positions are available at the Department of Biophysics and Biochemistry, Stockholm University, Sweden. The research involves structural and functional studies of the mitochondrial presequence protease PreP and its homologues in the pitrilysin peptidasome family. The positions are available immediately and funded for one year with a possible extension to two years. One of the successful candidates will focus primarily on crystallographic structure determination of human PreP and falcilysin, while the other may also involve functional studies in order to elucidate the mechanisms behind opening and closing of the peptidasome and its binding affinity for various peptides. The ideal candidates have a PhD in structural biology or biochemistry and documented experience with cloning, protein purification and crystallography. Please send your application, including a cover letter, CV, plus the names and email addresses of two references to: Therese Eneqvist (eneqvist@dbb.su.se) Therese Eneqvist, Assistant Professor Department of Biochemistry and Biophysics (DBB) ****************************************************************************** Arrhenius Laboratories Stockholm University SE-106 54 Stockholm, Sweden Tel: +46-8-162110 Fax: +46-8-153679 CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 1999 <-- November 1999 <-- 30 November 1999 |
