Three Year Postdoctoral Position in Protein-DNA Crystallography,
Institute of Biomedical and Biomolecular Sciences,
University of Portsmouth, U.K.

Salary from £31,671 per annum.

The Biophysics Laboratories are very well equipped for structural and
molecular biology and house a number of groups with interests in
protein-nucleic acid interactions and gene regulation. We are seeking a
postdoctoral scientist with experience of X-ray crystallography and,
ideally, other biophysical techniques to study protein-DNA complexes
involved in the control of restriction-modification genes (See for
example Nucleic Acids Research (2008) 36, 4778-87). The post is funded
by a BBSRC grant for 3 years. Informal enquiries can be made to Prof.
Geoff Kneale (02392 842678) or Dr John McGeehan (02392 842042).

Closing date: 26th February, 2010.
