CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 1999 <-- November 1999 <-- 30 November 1999Subject: Postdoctoral Research Assistant in Molecular and Structural Biology From: Ajit Basak a {- dot -} basak {- at -} MAIL {- dot -} CRYST {- dot -} BBK {- dot -} AC {- dot -} UK Date: 2010-02-24 A postdoctoral research assistant position is available in the Department of Biological Sciences/Institute of Structural and Molecular Biology in Birkbeck College, University of London, UK to study structure and function of Clostridium perfringens epsilon-toxin (see NSMB 2004). The position is funded by a Wellcome Trust and involves collaboration with the university of Exeter. The post is funded for three years. Applicants should have a PhD in structural biology, biochemistry, molecular biology, cell biology or a related area and relevant research publications. A strong background in molecular biology and protein biochemistry is desirable. Knowledge of protein crystallography and cryo-electron microscopy is advantageous but not essential.
