Hello,

I am used to purified HIV-1 NC protein which contains two zinc fingers.
Protocol uses PEI precipitation. (See Dynamical behavior of the HIV-1
nucleocapsid protein *Journal of Molecular Biology*
Volume 279,
Issue 3
,
12 June 1998, Pages 633-649). The pH has to be carfefully checked, it
depends on your protein pI. And PEI must be added drops after drops
under vigourous stirring.
