Hi all,
did anybody out there try to get a Quadro FX570 (two DVI outlets, no
direct emitter outlet) on a linux machine (OpenSuse 10.3, latest nvidia
drivers) to work with active stereoglasses?
We tried to use our usual ELSA or Edimensional glasses with the splitter
in the VGA cable, but there seems to be a problem with the DVI to VGA
conversion. We tried several DVI-VGA adapters to no avail. Two overlayed
stereoimages appear on the screen so it should not be a driver problem,
but the emitter does not pick up a signal.
I guess it's probably worth investing a little more money to get a card
with emitter-output, but it always nags me if it should be possible to
get it to work ...
Thanks for any hints,
Eckhard
