***** DIRECTOR OF PROTEIN PRODUCTION FACILITY *****

The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated
individual to oversee and manage the Protein Production Facility in the
new Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine. The successful
applicant will have at least three years of post doctoral experience with
a wide range of protein expression technologies, including bacterial,
insect, mammalian and cell-free platforms, and a strong background in
molecular biology, protein chemistry, automation and robotics technology.
The Protein Production Facility will complement a wide range of
outstanding programs in structural genomics, infectious disease and
immunity, drug and therapeutic development, molecular imaging and high
throughput proteomics analyses. The facility will also serve as a focal
point for the centralization and dissemination of expertise and reagents
to the entire Einstein community. The ability to work independently and to
supervise and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential, as are
superior organizational and communication skills.

Applicants should provide a cover letter describing their background and
accomplishments; a vision for a modern protein production facility;
curriculum vitae, including publication list; and the names of three
references to: Protein Production Search Committee, Department of
Biochemistry, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, 1300 Morris Park Ave.,
NY 10461; BCsearch07@medusa.bioc.aecom.yu.edu
