CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 2007 <-- March 2007 <-- 28 March 2007Subject: Director of Protein Production From: Steve Almo almo {- at -} MEDUSA {- dot -} BIOC {- dot -} AECOM {- dot -} YU {- dot -} EDU Date: 2007-03-28 The Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee and manage the Protein Production Facility in the new Center for Genetic and Translational Medicine. The successful applicant will have at least three years of post doctoral experience with a wide range of protein expression technologies, including bacterial, insect, mammalian and cell-free platforms, and a strong background in molecular biology, protein chemistry, automation and robotics technology. The Protein Production Facility will complement a wide range of outstanding programs in structural genomics, infectious disease and immunity, drug and therapeutic development, molecular imaging and high throughput proteomics analyses. The facility will also serve as a focal point for the centralization and dissemination of expertise and reagents to the entire Einstein community. The ability to work independently and to supervise and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential, as are superior organizational and communication skills.
