MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology - Cambridge

Scientific programmer

A position is available for a programmer to continue the development
of a new Graphical User Interface for a widely used program to process
X-ray diffraction data from crystals of biological macromolecules
(MOSFLM). The interface is written in Tcl/Tk and C. Experience in
programming is essential and familiarity with Tcl/Tk and C would be a
distinct advantage. Applicants should have a degree (or experience) in
a relevant area.

The position is funded by a grant from CCP4 for a period of 24 months
to start as soon as possible. The starting salary is likely to be in
the region of £19,238 - £26,555 per annum, and will be based on
qualifications and experience.

Further information can be obtained from Dr AGW Leslie
(andrew@mrc-lmb.cam.ac.uk).

For further information and an information pack please contact the
recruitment team by e-mail: Cambridge.Recruitment@ssc.mrc.ac.uk or
