I've installed quite a lot of stuff in /usr/local but found it useful to make /usr/local belong to me (sudo chown -R not found it inconvenient (you can use "sudo -s" to go into admin mode until further notice), but I suppose there is no reason not to make / sw belong to you, except that it increases the chances of messing something up by mistake Phil CCP4bb navigationCCP4bb <-- 1999 <-- November 1999 <-- 30 November 1999 |
