This is a reminder for the upcoming EMBO
practical workshop on protein expression,
purification and crystallization (PEPC6). The
deadline for this workshop is May 25th.
Applications are on-line only under
www.embl-hamburg.de/pepc.

The EMBL Hamburg Outstation is accepting
applications for the 6th biannual EMBO practical
workshop on protein expression, purification and
crystallisation (PEPC6) on September 1 – 9, 2008.
This highly successful course features
interactive lectures from internationally
renowned researchers in molecular biology and
crystallography. 50% of the workshop is dedicated
to hands-on practicals for groups of up to 4
students under the supervision of the invited
speakers and local scientists. The course will
take place in Hamburg at the EMBL Outstation
which is located on the DESY campus. It is
directed towards students in the early stages of
their career and is limited to 20 applicants.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own
samples to be tested during the practicals. More
information is available at
www.embl-hamburg.de/workshops/2008/PEPC6.
