Greetings CCP4 posters:

Below is a job posting for: Associate Director, Protein Structure
Laboratory at the University of Kansas

Position Description: The University of Kansas has an immediate career
opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced scientist to lead the
Protein Structure Laboratory. This Core Laboratory is part of a Center
of Biomedical Research Excellence in Protein Structure and Function. It
focuses on the use of X-ray crystallography for macromolecular structure
determination in support of research groups associated with the COBRE
and other research centers and departments. It operates in a highly
collegial and collaborative research environment and supports a diverse
range of investigators and research projects. The Associate Director
will oversee the operation of the laboratory; provide expertise,
training, and/or service in crystallization, diffraction and structure
determination as required by client projects; and assist or collaborate
with clients on preparation of manuscripts and grant applications
involving macromolecular X-ray crystallography. For further information

https://jobs.ku.edu, position #00206773.

Position requirements: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in biochemistry or a
closely related field with at least two years of experience in
application of macromolecular X-ray structure determination. This would
preferably include experience working in collaborative and/or team-based
projects and least four publications in leading peer-reviewed journals,
at least two of which deal with macromolecular X-ray structure
determination. Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication
skills are also essential for this position.
