Hi Ursula,
We pruhcased a Leica DFC model digital camera to go with our Leica microscope for imaging crystals. We are very happy with that choice. It may be more expensive that the Jenoptik one but I think it would be worth looking into.

I know this subject has come up before. But I would would like to hear
if people have had good or bad experience with various dedicated
microscope cameras. I am considering buying a camera from Jenoptik
(specifically the C3 model). Let me know if you had experience with any
of their cameras or prefer any other brands.
