Quantum 315 CCD X-ray detector general description
Quantum 315 CCD X-ray detector is a three by three array CCD detector, consisting of nine modules. The total active area is approximately 99225 mm2 (315 x 315 mm) with no more than 400 m slit between detecting areas. Total number of pixels = 6140 x 6140 with final image size about 37.75 Mb. CCD chip specification
Each individual Thomson THX7899 (2K x 2K) chip with 2048 x 2048 pixels (all of them are used) is connected via fiber optic taper ratio is 3.6 to 1 to 105 x 105 mm X-ray sensitive phosphor area, optimized for 1 Å radiation.
